Psychotherapy
INITIAL CONSULT
A 20-minute initial consult is available free of charge.
Therapy is an investment and commitment. I want you to feel comfortable knowing that you are getting the services that you need & make sure I am a good fit for you.
INDIVIDUAL & COUPLES COUNSELING
I currently offer telehealth therapy to individuals and couples throughout California. Video therapy sessions are often as effective as in-person sessions, with the added benefit of being in the comfort of your own home. Additionally, some people find it easier to discuss difficult topics from the safety of their own space.
In-persons sessions will be available in West Los Angeles in Spring 2024

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance (if you want to learn more about why this is the case, feel free to check out my blog post about it).
However, if you have out-of-network benefits (which typically means a PPO plan), your insurance provider may provide partial reimbursement for our work together. I recommend checking with your provider to confirm your benefits.
-
1) Contact your insurance company and ask if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits.
2) If so, ask the following:
-Does that include Telehealth?
-Do I have a deductible or copay? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
-Does my plan limit how many sessions I can have? If so, what’s the limit?
-Do I need written approval from my PCP for services to be covered?
-Are the following CPT (billing) codes for psychotherapy sessions covered: Individual Therapy- 90791, 90834, 90837; Couple/Family Therapy- 90846, 90847, 99354
-How do I submit superbills for reimbursement?
3) Tell me that you'd like to use out-of-network benefits
4) Pay the full session fee upfront
5) I will give you a Superbill at the end of each month
6) Submit the Superbill to your insurance company (or use Reimbursify for assistance)
7) Your insurance processes the claim and reimburses you according to your plan
Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions! I’m happy to help however I can.

As of January 1, 2022, under section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage, both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services (including related costs such as medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees).
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
